Crack Sealing

As pavement ages and begins to deteriorate, the first signs are usually cracks in the surface. Generally starting in the seams, and expanding outward. Hair line initially, and left untreated, will deepen and widen. As the elements batter the pavement, water begins to penetrate into the sub grade via newly formed cracks, softening the base of the parking lot causing structural failure and eventually, alligator cracking and pot holes. To slow this process, it’s imperative to seal the cracks with a rubberized fortified crack filler. Crack sealing is generally the least expensive maintenance item that has the greatest impact.
